Tara Lipinski Plastic Surgery Before and After Nose Job

If you haven’t heard of Tara Lipinski before, she is an American actress and sports commentator who is best known for figure skating career. She won an Olympic gold medal in Nagano, Japan in 1998 aged just 15 years old, and she is also the youngest person to win a World Figure Skating title.

Tara Lipinski also may have had plastic surgery. We’ll get to that in a minute (I know you’re all dying to hear all about it!) but first, let’s have a quick look at Tara Lipinski’s background so we know a little more about her.

Tara Lipinski

Tara Lipinski was born in Philadelphia in 1982, and she began ice skating at six years old in 1988. She competed for the first time in 1990 when she came second in the Eastern Regional Championships for roller skating. She became a teenage celebrity but, instead of getting there through film, TV or music, she became the youngest ever competitor to win a gold medal in figure skating. By 1995, when she was just 13, she won third place at the 1996 U.S Championships.

In 1998, Tara withdrew from the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships after a series of illnesses and went pro. Tara managed to bring her love of skating to a wider, younger audience through her tours with tours with Stars on Ice (which she participated in for four seasons), but conflicting accounts of her health continued to crop up. She underwent surgery because of a torn labrum in her hip in 2000, and soon after she left Stars on Ice shortly before their 5th tour.

Tara has played guest roles in several TV performances including Whose Line is it Anyway, Malcolm in the Middle, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. She also played a supporting role in The Young and the Restless and starred in the movie Ice Angel. In 1999, CBS made a special about Tara Lipinski’s career.

However, her career was not over yet. She became a sports commentator during the Sochi Winter Games and, she was promoted to a figure skating broadcasting team, and in 2016 Tara became an executive producer for a potential drama series about figure skating.

Plastic Surgery

Rumors have been spreading recently that Tara Lipinski may have undergone several plastic surgery procedures including Botox, a facelift, a nose job (rhinoplasty) and breast implants.

Facelift & Botox

Facelifts and Botox are fairly common in this day and age, and if you are getting young girls in their early twenties already freaking out about wrinkles then it’s not surprising that someone Tara’s age (34) may well have had some procedures to rejuvenate her appearance. For better or for worst, America is obsessed with youth.

Does Tara Lipinski Look Too Young to Be True?

34 is hardly old and it’s not like we would see wrinkles covering her forehead anyway, but the media seems convinced that her face is tighter and her forehead is too flawless for her age.

Does Tara Lipinski look too young for it to be natural? She has been in the public eye since she was a teenager so, naturally, we have seen her change over the years and perhaps we were just expecting her to look a little older than she does.

There’s no denying that Tara doesn’t look her age, but perhaps that’s just a result of a healthy diet and an athletic lifestyle? You don’t become a famous figure skating for being lazy, so maybe if we all took up figure skating we’d look as good as she does?

If you look at before and after pictures of Tara, she does look pretty different to how she used to. Her skin is a different shade, her chin seems smaller, her forehead seems a little smaller too and, all in all, she just doesn’t look quite like she used to look.

Your face does change as you get older, but perhaps the results are a little too quick to be a result of nature?

Cheek Augmentation

The sad thing is that, even though Tara Lipinski’s plastic surgery (if it was plastic surgery) has not ruined her face in the slightest, it has taken away some of her individuality. In her before pictures, you get a real sense of Tara’s personality. She looked unique, and she looked good.

In her after photo’s Tara doesn’t look bad, but she does look a little faker. She looks like a little like a Hollywood clone. If Tara did get the surgery, it’s just a little sad that she couldn’t see how pretty she already was.

There are also rumors that Tara had a cheek augmentation procedure that made her cheeks appear fuller than they were. If you look at before and after photos, you can see that her cheeks used to be slimmer, but plumper cheeks could just as easily be because of slight weight gain right?

Tara’s plumper cheeks could be natural, but they do look a little too ‘perfect’ to have such a simple explanation. Nose & Lip Job

Another noticeable thing about Tara’s changed appearance is her nose. Some believe that Tara Lipinski has had a nose job (professionally referred to as rhinoplasty) and if you look at her face you can kind of see what they mean.

If you look at Tara Lipinski’s nose in any before photos, you can see that it is longer and slightly wider than it looks in the after shots. Her nose as it is today is smaller, narrower and altogether different.

Tara Lipinski may have even had multiple nose jobs! Some people have said that her nose has been thinning over the years and it has changed more than once, so perhaps she wasn’t happy with the results the first few times?

So what’s the verdict on her nose? Does she look better or worse? Well, I would argue that she just looks different. Your nose is a big part of your face, and her nose has transformed her face, not for better or for worst, but just into a fairly different face.

There are rumors that Tara also underwent lip augmentation, and if you look at before and after photos her lips do look a little different, but it’s hard to tell if her lips are plumper or actually smaller than they were before!

Boob Job

Last but not least let’s talk about Tara Lipinski’s boobs, or rather her boob job. When comparing before and after photos of Tara Lipinski some people believe that her boobs are rounder and generally larger than they used to be. This could, of course, just be a result of weight gain. If Tara’s lips are naturally fuller, perhaps her breasts are naturally larger? I can’t see that big a difference, but perhaps in this word of overused plastic surgery that might be a good thing?

Verdict

Tara has not confirmed or denied whether she has had one or more of the procedures listed above, so until she does (if she does) speak out we may never know for sure. She does look young, her face has changed and her cheeks and breasts are larger, but could it just be natural causes?

For now, all we know is that it’s easier for celebrities to change their faces and hide the years due to expensive makeup. Is that all this is? Or is the transformation too extreme? I think she may well have had some surgery, but for now, we just don’t know.
